ILO online learning programme introduces Syrian refugees to their workplace rights in Jordan


The ILO has launched an e-learning programme for Syrian refugees in Jordan that explains their rights and responsibilities under the country’s labour law.

The online programme is part of on-going efforts by the ILO to help formalise the work of Syrian refugees in Jordan. It outlines the benefits of working legally through obtaining work permits, as well as the procedures needed to obtain them.

European Commission survey results


The European Commission has been conducting an EU survey to collect a wide range of initiatives taken by higher education actors. The objective of this survey was two-fold:

  • To have a better picture of the initiatives already taken by higher education actors in this area and of the challenges they may have encountered
  • To continue adapting the Erasmus+ programme to the current situation through a bottom-up approach and asking the higher education sector for their input

Kick-off Meeting

The LikeHome kick-off meeting was held on 14 and 15 December 2016 in Alicante, Spain. All partners had the opportunity to discuss in depth the theoretical background and the implementation of the LikeHome project.
